MEET THE DIRECTOR
|
| Todd LeBlanc has been sharing
his passion and knowledge of the performing arts in the New Tampa
community for over 18 years! He has built several successful music
programs in our local schools and churches, such as: Tampa Palms
Elementary (1989-1992), Hunter's Green Elementary (1992-1997), Wharton
High School (1997-1998), Grace Episcopal Church (1998-2002), St.
Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (2002-2007) and now at
St. Andrew
Presbyterian Church. He founded SHOWKIDZ
in 1994 while at Hunter's Green Elementary after much encouragement by
parents of middle schoolers whom he no longer had the pleasure of
working with. His joy for teaching and concern for others makes the
experience a joyful and rewarding one for those in the ensemble. His
groups have been acknowledged for their outstanding service in bringing
joy to those less fortunate in their community and beyond. |

Mr. LeBlanc's personal
experiences date back to first grade as a soloist at his church, St.
Mary's Parish and Sacred Heart School, in Newport, VT. He pursued his
interest in vocal performance and has won several vocal competitions
throughout his career.
He has landed the lead roles in several music theater productions, such
as: "Oliver" in OLIVER, "Sky Masterson" in GUYS & DOLLS, "Bobby" in
COMPANY, & "Billy Crocker" in ANYTHING GOES.
Todd was also selected as lead male vocalist for Warren Covington's PIED
PIPERS, the well known vocal quartet which starred the young Frank
Sinatra. The vocal group performed with many popular big bands including
The Tommy Dorsey & Benny Goodman Band. He continues to enjoy doing voice
over work for radio and television ads as time allows.
Todd is most grateful for his beautiful wife, Keli, and his two
daughters, Kathryn & Abbey. Their support and love is a true blessing! |
